CASC preparation remember the person in front of you not the examiner...

You see patients every day and care for them - you try to understand what is happening for them and interpret what you hear, then help them with a sound shared management plan. 

Do that in CASC - this is a patient or relative and you are sharing a slice of an interview/consultation with them - a focused section. So apply yourself to listening to understand, interpreting with sound clinical judgement, and planning what to do to help relieve distress and keep them safe. Show that you can do this calmly and professionally and with compassion. That's it.
